Report

Last game of the season saw U8 Juniors take on their old rivals Headless Cross at Home - with the honours even between the sides over 4 meetings in the last 2 years it was always going to be a great match and it did not disappoint.  Some great passing, great defending and a couple of excellent strikes it was 2-2 at half time with all to play for. 

One more goal a piece saw the honours even at full time with both Team coaches exceptionally proud of the performance.  Eckington goals from Oliver and Jak (2) - and once again a total team effort behind the goalscorers with good distribution from Dylan in goal and Harvey and Louis on the wings and solid play from Sam, Jacob, Joseph and Myles. 

Man of the match went to Myles for great man to man marking on the Cross dangerman George. In fact word of the Team performance has spread back and the Birmingham City Academy Team that George plays for have asked for a match against us early next season. 

Short report this week as I'm off to work - but just time to mention a big HELLO to Jacob's gran who reads these reports every week.  Thank you for your great support this season - we'll see you all next season.  Now it's time for the tournaments....... Phil
